When I was in Budapest I was telling the cashier at the National Gallery what I'd been doing in Devecser and Kololontar, and she told me that she was part of the animal rescue team that went in a couple of days after the red sludge hit. Which was a bunch of coincidences, really, what with Marianne (who hosted me in Devescer) being part of that side of things too.
